Main Purpose:

Are you ready to play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our mechanical operations? We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Discipline Engineer – EIA to join our team. In this role, you will manage the daily maintenance activities across various EIA disciplines. Your focus will be on planning, scheduling, and overseeing E&I maintenance tasks while ensuring compliance with safety and industry regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety & Compliance: Promote and uphold safe work practices, ensuring all activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate and oversee daily maintenance activities, working closely with Operations, Customer Service, and HSE teams to ensure efficient execution.
  • Budget Management: Manage and monitor maintenance budgets (Opex and Capex), with a focus on cost control and efficient resource allocation.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Lead efforts to diagnose and resolve mechanical failures, ensuring the availability of spare parts and tools.
  • Process Optimization: Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve maintenance processes, using KPIs to track performance and drive continuous improvement.

Team Development: Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, and manage local maintenance contracts.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in safety studies, engineering projects, and regulatory audits.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures, promoting a culture of safety within the team and among contractors.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced equipment reliability.
  • Perform root cause analysis for significant equipment failures and implement corrective actions.


About you:

  • MBO-4 or bachelor's degree in EIA Engineering.
  • 5+ years' experience in maintenance, ideally in O&G or liquid tank storage.
  • Proficient in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (health, safety, environmental).
  • Ability to read technical documentation, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Proficiency in CMMS, AutoCAD, MS Project.
