Your role:
As a Maintenance Planner Mechanical, you are responsible for an efficient planning and scheduling of work orders by analyzing the problem, define the scope of work and work packages, create accurate cost estimates, define required means, executing parties and spare parts to execute the work in a safe and efficient manner. You align with third parties for execution and validates the quality of the work permits. Furthermore, you ensure adequate maintenance administration of work executed, including review of execution and inspection reports.
You play a critical role in ensuring a safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities at the site.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure safety compliance for personal and team practices, oversee third-party adherence to safety protocols, and validate work permits.
Maintain compliance with environmental and regulatory standards within assigned areas.
Develop efficient and cost-effective maintenance work packages, including detailed work orders with scope, parts, skills, and cost estimates.
Optimize and cluster maintenance schedules to improve execution efficiency, collaborating with third parties and internal departments.
Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, and Procurement to ensure seamless scheduling and resource allocation.
Oversee work permits, including Task Risk Analyses and Lockout/Tagout processes, ensuring strict safety standards.
Act as the local liaison for contractors, managing daily activities and ensuring contract compliance.
Maintain accurate CMMS records and inventory levels for critical spare parts, ensuring audit readiness and operational efficiency.
Support the Maintenance Discipline Lead in prioritizing tasks and the Reliability Engineer in failure investigations.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by enhancing processes, reducing costs, and increasing reliability.
Additional dutie:
Participate in the company’s call-out services for urgent maintenance needs.
Job requirements
About you:
MBO-4 education level with a degree in Engineering (Mechanical).
Experience in good maintenance practices in the relevant discipline.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintenance planner preferably in the O&G or liquid tank storage.
Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance methods for the relevant discipline.
Basic knowledge of the relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Fluent in both written and spoken Dutch and English.
Proficient in reading and understanding technical documentation and communicating complex information clearly.
Skilled in using tools like CMMS, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite, with a pragmatic, results-driven approach to problem-solving.
Strong organizational, planning, and scheduling skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, able to manage a dynamic workload in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
You are willing to perform on-call response duties outside regular working hours.
